It is possible to request material held in Special Collections by e-mail.

The Cowen Tracts collection is now available on-line.
However if you wish to use the original item, you can still do so using the normal request form.


Please note
All Special Collections material* can only be used in the Special Collections Reading Room (the Enright Room) on Level 1 of the Robinson Library.
The Enright Room is open between 9.30 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. Monday to Friday.

* except for material from a small number of collections which staff and students of the University may use elswhere in the Robinson Library.

Requests for Special Collections material are normally retrieved at 9.00 a.m. and 2.15 p.m. Monday - Friday, to be made available by 10.00 a.m. and 3.15 p.m. respectively.

Applications for material received before 2.15 p.m. Monday - Friday will normally be satisfied by 3.15 p.m. the same day while those received after 2.15 p.m. Monday - Thursday will not normally be available until 10.00 a.m. the following day. Applications received after 2.15 p.m. on Friday (including those made on Saturday or Sunday) will not normally be available until 10.00 a.m. on the following Monday.

Due to lack of space, items not consulted will be reshelved after 14 days
