The Newcastle IL Programme is structured on the SCONUL seven pillars model of information literacy. You can use the programme structure to put together a series of Information Literacy related activities within the context of your own subject teaching. Each activity in the Toolkit is coded to tell you which standard and specific criteria in the programme structure it satisfies and which other criteria it is associated with.
