Evidence
Written and oral evidence is presented to most committees
and commissions. A list of persons and organisations giving
evidence is usually given in an appendix to the report
concerned. Evidence to Select Committees is published
with the report. Evidence to Royal
Commissions is usually published separately and therefore
catalogued separately although the report and the evidence
to it will be located together.
Most evidence is published as, and located at, Parliamentary
Papers. Evidence not published as a Parliamentary
Paper is catalogued and shelved in the Dewey sequence.
