How do I download book references from the Library Catalogue?

• Ensure your EndNote Library is open
• Click on Tools > Connect > Connect again

A box will appear called Choose a connection file

• Highlight Newcastle University Library in the A-Z list
• Click on Connect

Another screen should open which is the Library Catalogue within EndNote

• Search for the reference/s you want to download and highlight
• If you want to download more than one reference, select the references by holding the CTRL key
• Click on Copy References to
• Click on Choose Library and select your EndNote Library

The references should be imported into your EndNote Library

If you have a personal copy of EndNote, you can download a connection file for the Library Catalogue from here and save it in the connections folder in EndNote.
