Print Services at Newcastle University
Print Services, based within the Robinson Library, are responsible for producing many of the University's course handbooks, information sheets and other promotional material. Our Library Search (catalogue) will be unavailable for a short period of time on Sunday 30th December
Smartcard system upgrade 4th and 5th December
We regret we are unable to issue new or replacement cards on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th December. This is due to the upgrade of the University smartcard system.

Bank Holiday weekend closure
Please be reminded that all Newcastle University Libraries will be closed over the Bank Holiday weekend. We will close at 5:00pm on Friday 24th August and re-open at 9:00am on Tuesday 28th August.

Springer e-Book Trial
We are currently running an e-book trial with the publisher Springer. The trial gives us access to the full-text of almost 20,000 English-language monographs, textbooks, handbooks, atlases and book series published primarily in the scientific, technical and medical subject areas, between 2005-2010.
