The University Library has an agreement with the NHS to allow its staff employed within the region to become members of the library.
The 'region' includes all employees of all NHS organisations from:
- Northern Deanery
- NHS NorthEast
- All hospices, refugee doctors, and regional employees of NHSIA, National Blood Service, NHS Direct
