This collection contains copies of books which appear on reading lists within the Medical Faculty.
Most of the books in the collection may be borrowed for 4 hours during the day, and overnight from 6pm Monday-Thursday and 5pm Friday-Sunday during termtime. (Contact the Library for vacation variations to these times.)

Overnight loans MUST be returned by 9.30am on the next working day (10:30am on weekends).

Some items, which are either material that is out of print or unsuitable to be in the collection in the STC room, are kept behind the Library Desk. They are listed on Library Search as 'Ask at Desk'. They may be borrowed for 3 hours to use within the Library.

Journal articles on reading lists - some are kept as photocopies behind the Library desk and may be borrowed for 3 hours use in the Library. Others are available electronically from the Reading list online collection.

To ensure fair and equitable access to all, charges for overdue STC items are £1 per hour or part of hour and are rigorously applied!
