Background

For the last two years, we have been running an ESRC funded seminar series in this area.  This conference will function partly as a dissemination event, and also as an opportunity for others working in this area to showcase their work.  Professionals such as speech/language therapists, teachers and educational psychologists who work with EAL and/or bilingual children are particularly invited to attend, along with linguistics, psychologists and educationlists who have an interest in communication impairment and bilingualism and/or communication impairment and English as an Additional Language.

Keynote Speaker

Professor Virginia Gathercole, Centre for Research on Bilingualism in Theory and Practice, Bangor University

Registration
  • Early registration fee £40. Deadline for early registration: 25 May, 2009
