Location: Curtis Auditorium, Herschel Building
Time/Date: 30th April 2008, 13:30 - 19:00
The launch of CRiLLS marks an important milestone in the development and expansion of linguistics and language sciences at Newcastle University, bringing together more than 40 academic staff across the University, one of the largest teams of linguists in Europe. Our strengths lie in both our breadth of expertise, ranging from the highly theoretical to the very applied, and our range of interdisciplinary research activities, bridging theory and application.
We expect this event to be a huge success, with plenary addresses given by three distinguished linguists: Bernard Comrie, David Crystal and Lesley Milroy. In addition, you will have an opportunity to meet with members of CRiLLS and discuss our exciting projects and plans for the future.
