We have decided to start an informal CRiLLS SIG on comparative Romance linguistics, given the interest of many CRiLLS members in this topic. Anybody interested in Romance is very welcome to attend. The group will meet once a month to discuss recent papers on any area of Romance linguistics. If you have a paper to suggest or would like to chair a discussion, then please contact michelle.sheehan@ncl.ac.uk.
The paper for the first meeting is:
Ledgeway, Adam & Alessandra Lombardi. 2005. 'Verb movement, adverbs and clitic positions in Romance. Probus 17.79-113. available at http://www.reference-global.com/doi/abs/10.1515/prbs.2005.17.1.79 on campus or via RAS
