The Seventh Newcastle-upon-Tyne Postgraduate Conference in Linguistics
Travel Bursaries
We are pleased to announce that we will be offering three £50 travel bursaries for this year’s conference.
To be eligible to apply you must:
- have been accepted to present a paper or poster at the conference;
- have informed the committee that you will be presenting a paper or poster at the conference;
- have to make a special journey to Newcastle-upon-Tyne to attend the conference (i.e. you are not a Newcastle University or Northumbria University student).

- How will presenting at this conference benefit your research?
- Are you in receipt of any other funding which will aid your attending of the conference?
Application guidelines:
- Your application must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. Maximum word count: 300 words.
- The application deadline is Friday 9th March . Electronic submissions only. Please send to pgconfling@ncl.ac.uk.
- Please ensure that you include (i) your name; (ii) your affiliation; (iii) your abstract title.
