Working Memory

The new cross-school Special Interest Group in Working Memory (WM SIG) has been set up for staff and students interested in working memory, in psychology, language and brain research.

The purpose of the SIG is to discuss issues arising in our own research and the wider research field, in a relaxed and informal setting, with a focus on WM and language, but also incorporating all aspects of WM research.

Meetings are participant-driven, including discussion of topical papers, as well as focusing on conceptual aspects of WM, comparing different models of WM, sharing best practice on experimental methods, dealing with anomalous results, and identifying potential research collaborations.

We plan to meet on the first Monday of every month, 1-2pm, in the CRiLLS room (bring your own lunch - coffee provided!). The inaugural meeting is Monday 11 October.
