Submissions and queries should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. All submissions should be in accordance with our guidelines.
The journal accepts work in progress in the following areas:
- Applied Linguistics
- Child Language Acquisition
- Clinical Linguistics
- Discourse Analysis
- Historical Linguistics
- Second Language Acquisition
NB Work in other fields of linguistics and language sciences could be considered for publication.
Papers presented at the Newcastle Postgraduate Conference in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics are considered for publication and have priority over other submissions. Contributions by members of staff and postgraduate students in the Centre for Research in Linguistics and Language Sciences (CRiLLS) at Newcastle University are most welcome.
All submissions are reviewed by our reviewing panel before publication. Papers not accepted for the current issue can be re-written and may be submitted for the next issue (subject to the normal review process).
Submissions to NWPL cannot be considered for publication elsewhere unless permission has been granted by other publications. It is the author's responsibility to obtain such permission. Individual authors retain copyright privileges.
