BBC Countryfle on 8pm Sun 11th Aug with John Craven.
John Craven and BBC Countryfile came to profile the white beaked dolphin research happening around the Farne Islands. They spent a few hours with Ben Burville who uses HD video to film behaviour of dolphins and seals, and then filmed film bio-acoustics work the University does aboard The Princess Royal.

The film crew and John Craven spent the morning with Ben out of Seahouses and headed to where Ben currently is working, a site about 18 miles east of Dunstanburgh Castle.
Then the rest of the day was spent aboard The Princess Royal and filmed the deployment of the towed system, C-Pods and listened to some of the typical white-beaked dolphin clicks and whistles that you might expect to hear in the area.
Watch 2 short videos of White Beaked Dolphins swimming off the bow of the boat.
