Distance Learning - Delve Deeper
A distance learning course in Marine Biology
Registration for the 2012 course will open on 1st September 2011. You will be able to download registration forms here. The course will then run from 1st March until end of August 2012.
The course is for everyone who shares our respect and fascination for the marine environment. Not just a simple marine animal identification course, this six month program explains the biology and ecology of marine organisms. Five monthly internet based modules cover the coasts of the UK, open oceans, polar seas, tropical coral reefs, creatures of the deep and other topics. The other module is a five day field course to run from 7th to the 11th May 2012.
The cost of the course is £495, and includes:
- all internet-delivered tuition
- use of equipment and resources
- field trips and lunches for the field course
