The Dove Marine Laboratory is the ideal location to base residential undergraduate field courses. It is situated directly on the shoreline for ease of teaching in rocky and sediment shore ecology, and there are a host of grassland, freshwater, dune, saltmarsh, forestry and upland heath sites within easy driving distance.
