Calling all buddies

Calling all Budding Marine Scientists 2014


To celebrate the arrival our new research vessel staff at Newcastle University's Dove Marine Laboratory are inviting pupils from your school to participatein the "Marine Scientists" challenge.

Pupils who have the potential in science, engineering or design technology are challenged to compose a two A4 page fact sheet of a species of their choice. For more information please download the information pack here.

The winning entires will have the amazing opportunity of going out in the University's research vessel to experience how real marine scientists collect their data. Pupils will be involved in carrying out survey and sampling techniques at sea in Autumn 2014.
If you think your pupils have got what it take sand would enjoy this unique challenge please promote it in within your science department.
