This programme is offered by the Marine Technology Education Consortium, a collaboration between six UK universities. It is designed to provide flexible, innovative training for graduates working full time in the marine industry. It teaches new and advanced technical and managerial skills, in conjunction with business and management applications.
Each module is delivered by a combination of distance learning and a one-week intensive school. Modules can be taken as part of Continuing Professional Development or as a programme which leads to a Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or MSc.
The MSc and Diploma are approved/accredited as a Matching Section for CEng registration by the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology and the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. The programme also links in with the Rolls-Royce graduate training programme.
