Marine Biology
Compulsory modules for Marine Biologists at Stage 1 are:
- Biodiversity of Marine Animals
- Oceanography & Marine Ecology
- Field & Laboratory Techniques in Marine Science
- Introduction to Marine Engineering
- Introduction to Animal Behaviour
- Statistical Methods
- Introduction to Genetics
Students are able to choose two of the following to make a total of 120 credits:
- Marine Microbiology
- Marine Primary Producers
- Cell Biology
- The Animal Kingdom
