Optimisation of monohulls and catamarans for Seakeeping and Resistance using Genetic Algorithms.
Use of composite materials for weight saving structure on steel warships.
Design and optimisation of composite to steel joints.
Fire resistance prediction of composite structures.
Furnace fire testing of composite materials.
Strength assessment of composites at elevated temperature and after fire.
Mechanical testing of composite to steel joints at room and elevated temperature.
