Applied Mathematics Seminar: Prof Mike Reeks, Newcastle

Research in Applied Mathematics at Newcastle has a long and distinguished history, ranging through continuum mechanics, fluid mechanics, dynamo theory, geophysical and astrophysical fluids, soliton theory, superfluidity, Bose-Einstein condensates and more. This research has involved both analytical work and high-level computational modelling. Many of these research interests remain active to this day.
