R courses

R is a (free) open source programming language and software environment for statistical computing and graphics. It is used by many different companies, including: Google, Facebook, Bank of America and many firms involved in Biomedical research.

We are currently offering five R courses taking place in January 2013:

  • Course 1: Introduction to R. This course assumes no prior knowledge of R, programming or statistics.
  • Course 2: Statistical modelling.  This course assumes some knowledge of R.
  • Course 3: Programming with R. This course is a follow-on from the first course.
  • Course 4: Advanced graphics with R
  • Course 5: Efficient R programming
