On the relation between cluster and classical tilting (2010)

    Abstract: Let View the MathML source be a triangulated category with a cluster tilting subcategory View the MathML source. The quotient category View the MathML source is abelian; suppose that it has finite global dimension.We show that projection from View the MathML source to View the MathML source sends cluster tilting subcategories of View the MathML source to support tilting subcategories of View the MathML source, and that, in turn, support tilting subcategories of View the MathML source can be lifted uniquely to weak cluster tilting subcategories of View the MathML source.
