Dr Sian Lawson has been invited to co-author the International Society of Biomechanics recommendations for bone and joint coordinate systems in the horse. These guidelines, written in collaboration with researchers in the Netherlands, USA and France, will set the standards for the reporting of kinematic and kinetic data in animals, and should be a very highly cited publication.
