Introduction

Following graduation in 2010, Martin began working on examining failed metal-on-metal hip prostheses including the DePuy ASR. Currently he is involved in an international collaboration between Ceramtec, Newcastle University and the Newcastle Surgical Training Centre, looking into the deformation of Acetabular cup prostheses during their insertion.
