Fluid transients, CFD, robust design and design optimisation, psychometric tools for evaluating non academic factors that influence performance of engineering students, intermediate technology for water lifters for developing countries, optimisation of thermodynamic cycles for power plants, experiments on flows around asymmetric bluffbodies (cricket balls).
