Anatomy and Clinical Skills

Anatomy and Clinical Skills is a modernised, fully equipped clinical skills, surgical skills and gross anatomy resource with a range of manikins, models and simulators. The newly refurbished and highly adaptable facilities can be hired out and offers versatile space for wet labs, dry labs, and small seminar rooms which all have internet access. Access to cadaveric materials can be arranged and academic input is available in: gross anatomy, clinical skills and surgical skills. Technical support is provided and clerical support is also available on request.

Anatomy and Clinical Skills is the regional centre for the North East of England and is widely used by the Northern Office of The Royal College of Surgeons of England and The Royal College of Physicians as well as by other higher and further education institutes.

  • Clinical Skills Centre set up with hospital beds
  • Continual Professional Development (CPD) Laboratory for postgraduate surgical and clinical skills courses.
