Locally and nationally, our Learning Technologies for Medical Sciences unit (LTMS) has played a leading role in the development and delivery of on-line Personal Development Planning (PDP) environments and ePortfolios (electronic portfolios) since the mid 1990s. The LTMS team and the wider School have developed expertise in the technical, pedagogic and research aspects of ePortfolios. This expertise has contributed to the design of ePortfolios flexible enough to meet both institution and subject-specific requirements.
Our ePortfolios are currently being used or piloted with over 10,000 users at 12 institutions (at January, 2008).
