- Provide the widest range of associated equipment and facilities in support of XPS research needs of its users, selected in consultation with those users.

NEXUS begins with a Kratos Axis Ultra instrument on April 1st 2011 fully calibrated and operating under existing quality procedures and existing ISO 17025 accreditation, but in addition to this new XPS instruments will come online towards the end of 2011 that will quantitatively and qualitatively increase the availability of XPS to UK academia substantially.
