NEXUS provides key analytical software for the analysis of XPS and related spectra, for all NEXUS users. This software is available to all those who have had XPS data acquired by NEXUS, and this will be available from their own desks by remote access over the web. Remote access and web-enabled collaboration are a key feature of NEXUS, and we provide state-of-the-art software and tools to do this.
The NEXUS team have, collectively, decades of experience in the interpretation, metrology and quantitative analysis of XPS spectra. This expertise is at the disposal of NEXUS users, for small interpretation or data reduction tasks or guidance as to what methods and software to use for longer ones. This expertise will often be most valuable during acquisition of spectra, so collaborative methods of working (audio conferencing and remote PC screen viewing) during XPS acquisition is particularly valuable.
NEXUS provides a state-of-the-art platform for the XPS community in the development of new algorithms for the quantitative analysis and interpretation of XPS spectra. See www.esciencecentral.co.uk/xps
