Quality Management System
To ensure compliance with Human Tissue Authority (HTA) regulations, the Biobank operates a Quality Management System (QMS) which includes the following:
- approved Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- reporting of Adverse Events/Non-conformances
- audits of groups storing under the Licence
- regular meetings with PDs
- HTA assets under Change Control
- computer systems maintained under validated conditions
