This workshop looks at the elements that create an interesting piece of short fiction, including character, place, point of view and dialogue. The latter part of the workshop will discuss the business of publishing.
Kitty Fitzgerald has written Identity (Room to Write, 2014), Pigtopia (Faber & Faber, 2005) and a collection of short stories, Miranda’s Shadow (IRON Press, 2013). In autumn 2015 she was Writer in Residence at the University of Manitoba, Canada. She is currently a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at Teesside University.
