Shelley Roche-Jacques’ poetry has appeared in magazines such as Magma, The Rialto and The Boston Review. Her pamphlet Ripening Dark is part of the Eyewear 20/20 series, and her debut full collection Risk the Pier was published by Eyewear earlier this year. She teaches Creative Writing and Performance at Sheffield Hallam University, and is particularly interested in the dramatic monologue as a way of examining social and political issues.

David Spittle has a PhD on John Ashbery and Surrealism from Newcastle University. His first collection All Particles and Waves is forthcoming with Eyewear Press and he has been shortlisted twice for the Melita Hume Prize. His poetry has been published in Blackbox Manifold, 3am, Datableed, Zarf, among other magazines. He has also written the libretti to three operas, and a song-cycle. David is a Teaching Assistant in Creative Writing at Newcastle University.
