What Are They Whispering

What Are They Whispering? is a show made from poems about Power – personal, political, natural and technological – in poems that make you laugh, think and shiver. In association with Jaybird. 

Imtiaz Dharker is a poet, artist and documentary film-maker and all her books – Purdah, Postcards from God, I Speak for the Devil and The Terrorist at my Table and Leaving Fingerprints – include her own drawings. 

Joe Dunthorne’s debut novel, Submarine (2008), won the Curtis Brown Prize. It has been translated in to nine languages and made into a film. He is also a poet and performer. 

John Stammers’ first collection, Panoramic Lounge-Bar, was awarded the Forward Prize for Best First Collection 2001 and shortlisted for the Whitbread Poetry Award 2001. His second collection, Stolen Love Behaviour, was a Poetry Book Society Choice.
