Due to unforeseen circumstances, the dates have changed for the ~Flow Writing Commission: the event will now be on Wednesday 18 July, and proposals should be emailed in by 30 July. Full details are up on the ~Flow website, and below:
Engineering relies on precision and detail, as does good writing. ~Flow is working with Dr Viccy Adams from the Newcastle Centre for the Literary Arts, Newcastle University and Buro Happold to commission three writers to produce original work inspired by the engineering behind ~Flow. The final pieces will be published in the Royal Academy of Engineering journal and in the NCLA online archives.
In order to apply for the commission, you must attend our event on 18 July 2012.
Email email@example.com for further details.
There are three writing commissions available, each with a budget of £300.
Applicants should submit a statement detailing their interest in the project and relevant skills and experience (500 words max), a full C.V. and an estimated budget with approximate figures for how this budget would be spent.
The deadline for proposals is 30 July, please send complete proposals to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have any queries relating to this commission, please contact Nicola Singh at email@example.com or on 07973982007.
