Established in 2003 with an initial focus on poetry, the MA in Creative Writing has broadened to offer writers the opportunity to develop skills in fiction, scriptwriting and screenwriting whilst maintaining its strong reputation for poetry. Available full-time over one year or part-time over two, the MA is structured around workshops in poetry, prose or stage and screen. It also includes a vocational course, the study of modern and contemporary literature and two of the specialised short courses.
