Assessment Rooms

Assessment Rooms

Assessment rooms are used for human intervention studies.

When volunteers take part in research it is important to ensure that they feel comfortable and valued.

NU-Food has an assessment room which is primarily used for human intervention studies. Here volunteers meet with researchers who record standard measurements such as weight, height, BMI, blood pressure, blood sampling and other personal data.

The room is fully equipped for this kind of research and facilities include clinical equipment such as tanita scales, blood pressure monitors, and leicester height measures.

Specialist equipment for physiological assessments can be provided on request. Please contact our research team for more information.
