Congratulations Dr. Gordana Vasic Franklin
Gordana is awarded her PhD
Congratulations go to Dr. Gordana Vasic Franklin for graduating today at the Newcastle University Congregation ceremony.
Gordana's thesis was entitled "Modelling of wear and crack-initiation in rails" and since starting her research she has also worked for NewRail and transportNewcastle, married Dr. Francis Franklin and had a daughter, Ana-Sofia. An excellent example of multi-tasking!
Gordana continues to work for NewRail on the D-Rail and SUSTRAIL projects and we are delighted with her achievement today.
