Many publications for SafeCap project

The SafeCap project has many publications to its credit

Professor Alexander Romanovsky, an associate member of NewRail who is based in the School of Computing Science at Newcastle University has published widely on the SafeCap project.

He has presented papers at the 5th International Workshop, SERENE 2013, the 32nd International Conference SAFECOMP 2013, the RRUKA Annual Conference 2012, and at the Pacific-Rim Dependable Computing Conference in November 2012.

He has also had articles published by the Institute of Railway Signal Engineers and in EURAILmag.  You can read the EURAILmag article here.

SafeCap's aim is to develop a modelling environment integrating a number of verification and simulation techniques.  This would assist railway engineers in designing track layouts and signalling principles for achieving optimal capacity utilisation, while ensuring system safety.
