You are warmly invited to BACL’s 4th Colloquium which will take place at Newcastle on 13th – 14th May 2013.
This two-day event will bring together clinicians, researchers, and teachers for a rich and varied selection of presentations which report research findings, discuss issues in the teaching and learning of speech & language therapy, and showcase the application of linguistics and phonetics in clinical practice.
Delegate fees
Full registration fees are £120, with students and NHS therapists being charged a reduced rate of £70.
There will be an additional surcharge of £15 for non-members.
The fee will cover lunch and coffees, but not breakfast or the evening meal.
There will be a number of Postgraduate bursaries available.
*Earlybird prices end on 29 April
NHS or charity-based therapists should select and make payments under the Student Rate.
Abstracts
You are invited to submit an abstract which reports research, teaching & learning, or clinical application to speech & language therapy in one of the following four areas:
(A) phonetics & phonology
(B) morphology & syntax
(C) pragmatics & conversation analysis
(D) bilingualism, multilingualism & sign languages
Slots for spoken presentations will be 30 mins.
*The deadline for abstract submission is Fri 15th March.
