What we offer

The Institute offers around 15 PhD studentships every year, including:

• The Newcastle Cancer Centre training programme (3-4 PhD studentships and 1 clinical fellowship per annum)
• The CR-UK Medicinal Chemistry Studentship Training Scheme (2 PhD Studentships per year)
• The CANCURE EC Marie Curie Early Stage Training Programme

The Institute also hosts the research projects of around 20 Masters students every year. Students are registered on the following:

• MRes Cancer Programme
• MSc in Medical Science

Students registered on the MRes Cancer Programme are offered a number of Scholarships, Bursaries and Studentships
