Yvette is a specialist registrar in medical oncology. After qualifying to be a doctor at Newcastle University, she moved to Glasgow to train to be a medical oncologist.

Svitlana is a PhD student with Professors Jane Endicott and Martin Noble
She has graduated university in Kiev (Ukraine) and after moving to the UK was working in different labs as a Research Assistant. She has been inspired by the work performed in her group and by the scientific environment of NICR to do a PhD under the supervision of Jane Endicott and Martin Noble.
Simon is an Honorary Consultant Paediatric Oncologist at the Great North Children’s Hospital in Newcastle, and a Clinical Fellow at the Wolfson Centre for Childhood Cancer Research, Newcastle University.
Deepali’s core expertise lies in stem-cell genetic engineering, induced pluripotent stem cell technology, primary culture and study of malignant niches. Her current research strategy chiefly comprises interrogating the malignant haematopoietic bone-marrow niche and exploiting such cancer-niche signalling networks to facilitate design of new non-genotoxic therapeutic approaches.
