Conference Venue
The conference will be held in the brand new (less than one year old) 8-storey Newcastle University Business School building, which is located at NE1 4SE (check it on Google Maps). It has its own metro station (called ‘St James’) right across the road with links to the airport, and is a ten minute easy walk to the main Newcastle Central railway station.
Our main conference dinner on the evening of Friday 8th June will on the main campus of Newcastle University, some ten minutes walk away from the Business School building. This will be preceded by a tour of the main campus and a stop in the beautiful old quadrangle where the University’s original C19th buildings can be admired.
Newcastle is famous for its excellent city centre bars and restaurants. The conference venue is only a few minutes walk from the city’s excellent ‘Chinatown’ and is about ten minutes walk to the famous Bigg Market (for eating and drinking) and Eldon Square (for shopping).
