Business School supports first Northern Marketing AwardsThe Business School is delighted to have supported the region’s first Northern Marketing Awards. The awards, which were hosted by David Byron, ex-managing director of BMI Baby, took place at Newcastle Marriott on Thursday 23rd October 2008.
Ten awards were handed out at the event which was closely associated with the Chartered Institute of marketing (CIM). Newcastle University Business School sponsored the Best Marketing Innovation category which was presented to the winner McCain Foods Ltd, by the Business School Marketing & Development Manager, Paul Armstrong.
McCain caught the judges eye with the way they had managed to keep their brand relevant in a market place with a rapidly changing attitude towards healthy eating.
Further information about the awards can be found here.
The Business School offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate marketing programmes.
