The School naturally relies on new students joining the university each year and we put considerable resources into the recruitment efforts to find suitable students to enrol on our programmes.
As one of our graduates you have already experienced life at Newcastle University Business School and have opinions and thoughts on the School, University, Programme of study, City, Region and even the UK - The School and our potential students really value those opinions!
We see you as an integral part of our recruitment effort and you can really add value to our drive for new students. To this end we would welcome any of our graduates interested in helping us to do so, whether that be domestically or internationally, to Contact Us today so we can ensure the school can continue to grow its networks for the future.
Not only can you help us to recruit new students but as a graduate of the School, perhaps working in a company looking for employees, we can connect you to a pool of other graduates with wide ranging skill-sets, who all come from the same school as you (so you know the standard is going to be excellent ). Hopefully we can help your company find an employee that really stands out from the crowd.
If you are interested in either of these opportunities Contact Us and we can discuss them with you.
"I am just about to leave for Russia on behalf of the Business School to help with recruitment activities at the 'Education UK Exhibition' in Moscow. I was really pleased to be asked if I would be able to help because the School has provided me with an exciting educational experience and I am happy to give something back. I will be doing a presentation about what it is like for a Russian student living and studying in the UK.
I am very much looking forward to this opportunity, which will enable me to pass on the knowledge that I have gained during my studies at Newcastle University to potential students."
Are you currently in need for business solutions? Our alumni, once in employment, have been able to host students on visits and internships to their company to look at specific business problems, help provide solutions and work on specific projects.
Our MBA students in particular can help provide solutions for business related problems and the Director of Executive Programmes at the Business School is always keen to hear from potential host companies. Please Contact Us if you can host some of our students or want to talk about the opportunity.
Sharon Rowlands, Former CEO of Thomson Financial and University alumna, helped to facilitate a company visit to Thomson Financial in New York for our EMBA students. A full report was written up by an Executive MBA student Ally Robson (now a graduate of the School), and can be seen in Issue 5 (page 13) of the School's bi-annual magazine NUBusiness.
