Conversaziones in BioBusiness is a recently established seminar series, providing a forum for researchers, academic staff and people from businesses and industry to talk openly about ideas and issues relating to the bioprocessing sector. The underlying idea is to encourage better understanding between academia and industry and stimulate collaborations.
These informal networking events are free, with lunch provided, together with opportunities to talk further with the session’s guest speakers.
Recent speakers have included Dr Iain Cloughley, Business Development Director of Newcastle Science City and Dr Tony Bradshaw, Director of bioProcessUK, a knowledge transfer network funded through the Technology Strategy Board and managed by the BIA (BioIndustry Association).
