Newcastle University Business School works closely with several sponsors and benefactors and is very grateful for their ongoing support which undoubtedly accelerates the process of becoming a world class business school.
The David Goldman Endowment
The late David Goldman was one of the founders of The Sage Group plc, and a highly respected member of the North East business community.
Seeking to honour his memory, the Goldman family made an endowment to Newcastle University Business School in 1999.
The relationship between the Goldmans and the Business School has continued to thrive and the endowment currently supports the David Goldman Chair of Innovation & Enterprise, a David Goldman doctoral student and the appointment of an annual visiting professor drawn from the region’s business community who each year gives the annual David Goldman Business School lecture.
The School also has other professorial chairs sponsored by a number of valued leading organisations:
The School also offers the BA Hons Business Accounting and Finance Flying Start Programme, a collaboration between Newcastle University, PwC and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the first of its kind to provide a combination of a degree, paid work placements and accelerated professional qualifications.
