Each year an industry visit is arranged for this course and guest speakers from industry are invited to share their experiences and insights with you.
This course develops your critical skills which will help you to evaluate, synthesise and apply theories and concepts in operations and supply chain management. You apply these skills to a range of complex, open ended problems, demonstrating your understanding of theory and in the future to shaping organisational performance. Our teaching covers topics in a national and international context.
The course shapes your understanding of quantitative analysis approaches in logistics and supply chain management; how the mainstream supply chain information systems work; and how information technology can improve the efficiency of supply chain management
