It’s never too early to start planning for your future……
Here at the Business School we are committed to helping you develop your employability skills in today’s challenging graduate job market.
This year will see the return of the School's own 'Career Development Week' which is designed for all our students and will help to give you an insight into possible career options and to start thinking about your future.
Its never too early to start looking for opportunities to gain practical experience whether via voluntary or part-time work, internships, work placements or through involvement in extra-curricular activity.
This exciting week will give you the opportunity to meet a wide range of employers, from large corporations such as Nissan, the Bank of England and Accenture to smaller SMEs in a variety of sectors.
We will be running a range of careers-related activities during the week covering three main areas:
- The Applications Process (including mock interviews)
- Sector information
- Career Planning (including a Business game)
We will also be hosting the Newcastle Business Placements Fair on the 31st of October where we will be inviting a number of companies who are looking to offer year out/sandwich placements, work experience and summer internships. Further details of this can be found at:
