We are looking for three enthusiastic and self-motivated undergraduate students to work on a range of projects this summer.
The projects will be yours to manage and will provide hands-on paid work experience relevant to the business world. You will also have the opportunity to develop a number of skills which will go a long way towards enhancing your CV. All vacancies are full time (37 hours per week) and the pay will be c. £7.50 per hour.
The closing date for applications is 10am on Monday 23rd April 2012. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted on Friday 27th April and the interviews will take place on Friday 4th May
The internships will take place during the summer and will last 8 weeks.They are likely to start in mid-July and will finish mid-September, possibly running up to the start of term. There is scope to be flexible with start dates depending on availability of the interns and project leads.
Note: The scheme is open to current Newcastle University Business School undergraduate students i.e. stage 1-3.
Students must have successfully passed stage 1 of their degree.

It is anticipated that the interns will explore issues in the following areas (the exact briefs are to be agreed but each intern will focus on one or two key areas):
The above are indicative tasks and the projects may include additional duties. There may be some overlap between projects and as a result we would expect you to take a flexible approach to the projects and support the work of other interns as required.
Interns will be required to produce a formal written report and present their findings to key Business School staff at the end of the internship.
